Grey Hat Developer is an organization that trains, certifies, and employs. We give our clients training and certification by utilizing a number of open source tools and resources.

After a year of brainstorming, grinding, and restructuring, we finally have something to bring to the table that we know can help people. To us, that’s what it’s all about. Helping and empowering people.

If you’ve been staying close to the posts over the past year, then you know that we’ve been blessed to make some significant strides in the world of computers and Information Systems. Now, with the help of the team at Cybrary.IT, we are able to bring all of our hacking objectives together in a structured learning environment.

To kick this off, we’ve put together a cirriculum for our intern group called Hacking 101. Experience in this field has shown us that the skills acquired within the domains covered by this course make up core skills that an IT professional must at the very least be familiar with in order to be proficient at their job. In addition, if one aspires to be a proficient hacker- then these core skills are absolutely mandatory to master.

We want to empower people in general, but specifically ex-felons, adult learners, minorities, and disadvantaged youth with the ability to make a legit living for themselves using the skills gained in the field of computers/Information Systems.

In keeping with the theme, heart, and spirit of the Grey Hat Developer community, we are in the process of putting together a cirriculum for our more advanced learners. This set of courses will be based upon our earlier series of blog posts relating hacking to Kung-Fu. It will be aptly named, The Art of Hacking Kung-Fu.

If you’d like to get involved, we encourage you to join the forum here. Ultimately, this is where the magic happens. Here you can find support and links to resources that will help you become a more productive and efficient IT professional and hacker overall.
